That candle is really a CFL

What, no squiggly tube? It looks like a candle light but it is really a CFL.

High-tech Lexan FXD polycarbonate (PC) resin was the material of choice for lighting manufacturer Osram for molding its new line of high-end, retrofit CFL candle bulbs, called the Duluxstar Mini Candle. Sabic Innovative Plastics specially blended the plastic for Osram. Its qualities include high impact resistance, high light transmission qualities; translucence to hide internal components and provide a soft, flattering effect; light scattering; compliance with Glow Wire Ignition and ball pressure tests, and a· UL94 V2 rating up to 1.2 mm.

Osram Duluxstar Mini Candle energy saving lamps are currently available all over Europe. Using about 80% less energy than the incandescent bulbs they replace, they have a 10-year life and come in power ratings from five to 10 W.
