Power Sources Unlimited Inc. announces the PUP150N Series of desktop ac/dc switching power supplies, which provide 150 W of power in a super compact 6.73 x 2.83 x 1.57-in. package. They are enclosed in a 94 V-1 rated polyphenylene-oxide case with an IEC 320/C14 or IEC320/C6 inlet to mate with an interchangeable cord for worldwide use.

Now with EISA (Energy Independence and Security Act), Energy Star, and CEC Level IV Compliance, the PUP150N Series has a power factor corrected, 90 to 264 Vac input, and offers fully regulated, single output models ranging from 12 to 24 Vdc. Standby power consumption is less than 1 W.

Achieved efficiency is 86% minimum at 110 or 240 Vac, allowing the unit to operate without a cooling fan, ensuring quiet operation and high reliability.
